Pasir Ris Secondary School extends our warmest invitation to all Primary 6 students to apply for direct admission to our Secondary One in 2019 via the DSA-Sec Direct School Admission Exercise. Here in PRSS, we embrace the love of aesthetics and have a vibrant culture in the Music and Performing Arts. The Performing Arts CCAs in our school includes the Choir, Concert Band, Chinese Orchestra, Drama and the Malay Dance.

At Pasir Ris Secondary, we will provide you with the CCA experience of a lifetime. We will develop you into a cultured citizen, reflective learner and creative performer. You will be given the chance to immerse yourself in the arts, actively creating and experimenting with different art forms while achieving artistic excellence.

You will develop your talents and interests to the fullest through our regular CCA training sessions, musical exchanges with other institutions, masterclasses and camps. Your confidence and skills will be grown through participation in community performances and school organised concerts. Our past public performances include Spring Surprise at Gardens by the Bay (2017), Arts Fiesta at Tampines Hub (2017), Something About Us at Esplanade Concert Hall (2015), A Gift of Love (2016) and A Beautiful Life – A Tapestry of Love (2018) at Victoria Concert Hall.

The highlight for every performing arts student would be the opportunity to participate and excel in the Biennial Singapore Youth Festival. Additionally, if you show exceptional promise, you will also be selected to be in our Music Accreditation Program with ABRSM / NAFA.
