DSA - ALP IN HUMANITIES & ENGLISH LANGUAGE

Our Applied Learning Programme in Humanities and English Language aims to develop you to be a critical thinker and an effective communicator, with sound values, a passion for learning and a global outlook.

You will discover the joy of learning Humanities subjects such as Geography, History and Social Studies through many exciting activities and projects that will make learning come alive. You will appreciate the complexities of the world and society through investigating and exploring a real-world issue. You will learn to research on a topic, curate information, create multi-media content to demonstrate your learning and plan a community outreach project. You will also take part in interesting learning journeys and fieldwork, both local and overseas so that you can appreciate the relevance of what you learn.

At the same time, we will also develop you to be a confident and effective communicator through various internal and external platforms such as the celebration of major school events and external competitions. We will also hone your skills in writing, media appreciation and oral presentation in the various projects that you undertake with your peers. Apart from that, there will also be customised workshops where you will be equipped with relevant skills in dramatic expressions, public speaking and documentary production. These activities will enable you to think broadly, appreciate multiple perspectives, and be more confident in the delivery and articulation of your ideas.

If you have the interest and passion in learning more about Humanities and English Language, we invite you to join our Pasirian family.
